🌍Location: El SalvadorRole is responsible for:Understanding the testing scope considering overall yearly SOX testing objectives.Supporting supervisors in decision-making related to SOX testing strategy by providing deep analysis and recommendations on the design and effectiveness of internal IT controls.Supporting supervisors in the creation/updating of data analytics dashboards.Debrief on testing results with control owners/reviewers and other stakeholders. Ensure the results are clearly and timely communicated to ensure the remediation of deficiencies.Critically evaluate the current set of in scope IT controls and recommend ways to rationalize and optimize IT controls through automation.Perform process walkthroughs and document narratives and flowcharts of key IT controls over financial reporting, along with the identification of risks.Perform testing of key IT controls over financial reporting.Conduct a security-focused IT risk assessment, identify potential weaknesses and create value added, relevant solutions that address internal control needs and business requirements without sacrificing efficiencyExamine internal control weaknesses and recommend best practices.Professional and Academic requirements:📘 Bachelor's degree in Information Technology Engineering, Information Security, Cyber Security, Telecommunications Engineering or similar.🧾 Previous audit experience (internal/external), is required, preferably from an accounting firm.💻 Intermediate proficiency of COBIT framework and experience applying the framework in a manner that supports SOX compliance and operational efficiency.🛡️ Intermediate knowledge of NIST or other relevant IT framework.📩 Apply now and be part of the future of telecommunications in El Salvador!Our people are the soul of Tigo El Salvador.
